Affray
Using or threatening unlawful violence towards another in a public place, causing a person of reasonable firmness to fear for their safety.
Up to 10 years imprisonment

Offensive Conduct / Language
Conducting oneself in an offensive manner or using offensive language in or near a public place under the Summary Offences Act.
Maximum fine of $660

Intimidation / Stalking
Conduct amounting to intimidation or stalking of another person with intent to cause fear of physical or mental harm under s.13 Crimes (Domestic and Personal Violence) Act 2007.
Up to 5 years imprisonment or 50 penalty units, or both

- No intent to cause fear
- Conduct was reasonable

- False complaint
Riot / Violent Disorder
Participating in a riot involving 12 or more persons using or threatening unlawful violence for a common purpose.
Up to 15 years imprisonment

- Not a participant
- No common purpose
- Duress
- Mistaken identity
